SUNSHINE last week became home to a world-class regional lubricant laboratory and technical centre.
The opening of the latest Fuchs lubricant centre will see more jobs created in the thriving business district and managing director Wayne Hoiles said it would ensure the company continued to develop new products for the market.
“We are the team of lubricant specialists, and this new laboratory will ensure that we continue to develop new products for our market, and provide an increased level of technical support to our customers,” Mr Hoiles said.
The opening attracted over 100 people including V8 Supercar stars and former Australian Top Fuel Champion Phil Lamattina.
Mr Hoiles said the completely refurbished centre would host some of the world’s finest equipment and provide a boost to local and regional lubricant development and sales.
The new laboratory will be responsible for providing technical support to the region, and will form part of both the global research and development and technical support program and is one of its kind in the Australasian region.
