Youth to save energy

YOUNGSTERS across Brimbank will band together to tackle important environmental issues next week.
The ‘Kids teaching Kids’ Youth Environment conference will provide a platform for children to impart their knowledge of serious environmental issues onto other students from the area.
St Albans Secondary College, Copperfield College, Overnewton Anglican Community College, Marian College, University Park Primary School and Movelle Primary School will be represented at the conference hosted by Brimbank City Council and Iramoo Sustainable Community Centre.
The schools have been working tirelessly for months, researching and developing the workshops, which will focus on water and energy saving, waste conservation and sustainability.
