MADDI from Pet Works in Sunshine made some furred and feathered friends last week. Staff from the store will appear at the Feline and Small Animals Expo on Saturday 5 October from 10am – 2pm at the Westvale Community Centre, 45 Kings Rd, St Albans. The family-friendly event will include demonstrations, an animal farm, activities for children, cat micro-chipping at discounted rates and a range of animal welfare organisations to offer tips on caring for smaller pets like rats, guinea pigs, birds and reptiles. All welcome but dogs must be on a leash and will not be allowed at indoor activities.
