THE WILLIAMSTOWN Hospital thanked Rotary at a special event for gifting a television for the waiting room of the Williamstown CBR.
The Rotary Club of Williamstown president Kathy Roberts and Hobsons Bay City councillor Paul Morgan were the guests of honour at the event.
“It is now up and running, and the patients are enjoying the benefits of the TV, as well as the staff, because they realise they will be able to show educational DVD’s,” Ms Roberts said.
She said the Rotary Club of Williamstown was approached by the manager of the community-based rehabilitation centre for a donation towards buying the television for the waiting room.
Hobson’s Bay councillor and Rotarian Paul Morgan also donated some funds towards this cause. At the morning tea, the hospital presented a plaque that will be displayed as a thank you to the donors to be placed under the television.
