Men’s Shed event
MEN’S Shed will be holding a regular first Monday of the month (the next being 5 September) meeting from 3-5pm to discuss nutrition, health and wellbeing. Emphasis will be on your physical health and the value of foods we eat. A great session is promised, and much knowledge will be gained by your attendance. The venue is at 280 Queens St, Altona. AUSLAN storytime

Marc McBride captures the cover
MARC McBride has illustrated over 50 book covers and countless magazines. He is most famous for his work illustrating the covers of the ‘Deltora Quest’. Marc will tell his story, demonstrate his Deltora magic and work with you on some illustration techniques. If you are interested in art, books or design, come on down and help us launch our 2011 Illustration competition. Italian and English storytime
ALL parents, grandparents and pre-schoolers are invited to an Italian and English bi-lingual storytime at the regular storytime session. August Family History Group
Can’t find a will? Feel sure there must have been one? Perhaps it is in the Public Records Office of Victoria under ‘Non-Issued probates’. Lots of stories to help with your understanding of wills, and access to an index of records to check (1852-1952).
