THE future is looking bright for the Williamstown Lifesaving Club. Last month some of the club’s youngest athletes, including Bridgette, Maddy, Mai, Keely, Jake, Ayden, Grace and Emily competed at the Victorian Junior Pool Life Saving Championships. After a tough day of racing, Williamstown stormed home to claim second place, just one point behind overall winners Jan Juc. As well as the outstanding club result there were also a number of exciting individual performances with gold medals littered across the 22 nipper strong Williamstown team.
