WILLIAMSTOWN North Primary School threw open their doors to parents and the community during a week that showcased their programs and celebrated their achievements.
Last week the school celebrated Education Week.
The week-long event included a number of different activities like open classrooms, sports programs and cultural activities, many of which were student and parent friendly.
Principal Jim Cahill said the focus of Education Week was to strengthen and build a partnership with parents and showcase their achievements.
“We feel so fortunate to have such a wonderfully supported parents community,” he said.
Mr Cahill said it was important student learning was nurtured at school and supported at home.
“We place a lot of emphasis on our community so parents have a clear understanding of the programs we are running.”
“It’s great that government schools get an opportunity to showcase the wonderful things that happen in government schools every year.”
