WILLIAMSTOWN produced on of its slickest performances of the season to overwhelm Bendigo by 80 points at Queen Elizabeth Oval on Saturday.
Williamstown was three goals behind at quarter-time, but piled on eight goals to one in the second to hold a sizeable lead at the main break.
There was no looking back after that – the Seagulls kicked 15 goals in the second half to record their biggest score of the year. The final scoreboard read 25.16 (166) to 13.9 (87).
Jarrad Grant and Andrew Hooper kicked four goals each for Williamstown, while former Seagull Matthew Little was a lone hand for the Bombers in front of goal, booting six goals.
Brian Lake chipped in with three goals for Williamstown.
Brett Johnson played another inspirational captain’s game and was a stand-out in the midfield.
Nathan Djerrkura, Josh Hill and Jordan Roughead were also top contributors.
Williamstown will play Northern Bullants at Preston City Oval on Sunday, before taking on East Perth in the Foxtel Cup semi-final at Etihad Stadium on 9 July.
