MOTHER Judy and her daughters Katie, 13, and five-year-old Emily will don their pink T-shirts for a good cause on Sunday 24 February at 10am. The Altona Roosters Cricket Club will hold a fundraising mothers-against-daughters match for the McGrath Foundation, which raises money for cancer treatment and awareness. Katie is a member of the Altona Roosters Chicks all-girl team and is set to give her Mum some stiff competition at the match, which will be on at Langshaw Reserve in Fifth Ave, Altona North. However, the mothers are busy training for the big day. “I’m quite competitive , so I won’t be holding back,” Judy said.
