Deer Park robbery avoided

A DEER Park woman had a frightening near-miss after her home was broken into last weekend.
The 21-year-old was at her O’Connor Rd home at around 9.30pm on Sunday 20 November when her dog began barking at something in the backyard.
A short time later the home’s burglar alarm was activated, prompting the woman to investigate.
She discovered the rear sliding door of the home ajar, but didn’t see or hear anyone.
Nothing was stolen from the property, but police are still investigating how the intruder entered the home.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Brimbank CIU on 9313 3333 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
