BRIMBANK and Maribyrnong Interfaith Network will host the third Places of Worship bus tour next month.
The tours, aimed at creating greater awareness of the places of worship in the area, will enable participants to explore significant religious venues and to promote greater tolerance of everyone’s beliefs.
All members of the community can attend and participants will spend 30 minutes at each place of worship where they will be welcomed by the hosting faith leaders and given a guided tour of the site.
The event will be organised by Brimbank and Maribyrnong councils, Victoria Police and the Victorian Multicultural Commission.
