Cops throw out line

POLICE are seeking information about the theft of a substantial amount of bait from two large freezers behind a foreshore restaurant in Williams-town on Saturday 10 June.
Police believe two men climbed the fence behind the Anchorage Restaurant on The Strand and entered the boat mooring area.
Police said the men tried to cut the mooring lines on a boat belonging to Heritage Victoria, before breaking into two large freezers against a wall of the restaurant and stealing the bait.
Police have released images of two men they believe may be able to help with their inquiries.
