THE City of Melton celebrates Heritage Week local businesses have come together to promote the area’s rich past.
History buffs can this week enjoy bus tours, heritage walks, talks, photographic exhibitions and workshops as part of the annual festivities. Special lunches will also be provided for members of the community that have made a significant impact on the city’s landscape. As part of the celebrations Melton Florist has designed a colourful window display, pictured here with local resident Sonja Kostadinovski, for shoppers to enjoy. Retailers throughout Melton’s business district have created a range of displays to commemorate the area’s former glories with the hope of inspiring community pride in Melton’s younger generation. 97489
