STEPHANIE Angelini admits to shedding a tear when she heard her voice on television for the first time. The Caroline Springs resident was recently chosen as the voice behind one of Australia longest running soap operas Neighbours. Earlier this month Stephanie went up against her UK counterpart and competed for a chance to sing the show’s new theme song. Both singers were successful and recorded a duet. The 21-year-old said it was a surreal moment when she heard the song being played during the credits.
“It was really surreal. I was just so excited,” Stephanie said. “All of the family were around the TV … they were all ecstatic. I couldn’t help but shed a tear.” 96625 Picture: JOE MASTROIANNI
