Delight family and friends with beautiful handcrafted gifts this Christmas.
The Port Macquarie Art and Craft Centre’s artists and craftspeople will be selling unique pieces of weaving, knitting and crochet, lapidary and jewellery, woodwork, leatherwork and pottery at their annual Christmas sale on Saturday 17 November.
You can finish your Christmas gift list in one shopping spree. There is something for everyone – from delicate knitted booties and Christmas coat hangers, to jewellery set with precious stones; from hand tooled leather wallets to vases and platters with beautiful glazes – and all at very reasonable prices.
There will be demonstrations of all arts and crafts, and if you are inspired to try your hand, you are very welcome to drop into one of the many art and craft sessions from Monday to Saturday, where enthusiastic and friendly members will share their techniques.
The Christmas Sale is one of the fundraising activities that enables the Centre to support many charities and community organisations with funds and gifts of warm garments and rugs.
The sale will be open from 9am to 3pm at the Port Macquarie Art and Craft Centre, corner of Gordon Street and Lake Road, and tea and coffee will be available.
