Port’s net gain

ALMOST 100 Port Macquarie reisdents will soon have faster, more consistent internet.
Telstra has completed further upgrades at the Port Macquarie exchange, which will give more locals the opportunity to access better health, education, productivity and entertainment resources online, as well as access to services including premium products such as Telstra’s new Digital Office Technology or Foxtel on T-Box.
Telstra Country Wide Area General Manager for North West NSW Mike Marom said he believed the network upgrades would bring a number of benefits to the local community.
Mr Marom said Telstra was investing in local communities across the country to bring faster speeds and improved technology wherever possible.
“By collaborating with local communities, as well as the ongoing innovation and investment in Telstra’s network, we’ll continue to meet the needs and expectations of the local communities in which Telstra employees live and work,” he said.
