AUSTRALIAN tennis player Chris Guccione will take some time away from serving bombs at Melbourne Park to be the special guest at the North Sunshine Tennis Club open day this weekend.
Guccione, who is listed to play doubles with Lleyton Hewitt at the Australian Open, will join his brother North Sunshine club coach Anthony Guccione to run a number of coaching drills on the day.
North Sunshine secretary Chris Humbert said it is a great thrill to have Chris as a special guest and encouraged any eager tennis players in the community to attend the open day.
“We are hoping for all families and children and just everyone to come along and see the great facilities that our tennis club can offer members,” he said.
“From there they might decide to sign up for competition or get some coaching at the club.
“We welcome people of all standards and ages to come along and get involved in a great sport that you can play for your whole life.”
