SEPTEMBER’S Don Deeble nomination Anthony Duzel continues to impress, after trialling for English Premier League clubs Blackburn Rovers and Everton on Wednesday. Anthony, 13, was one of only two Victorians to take part.
The Sydenham resident already has a soccer resume to envy, after competing for Australia at the AFC under-14 Boys Festival of Football in Malaysia earlier this year.
He was also named in the Asian All-Star team and is in the running for the 2010/11 Don Deeble Award. Anthony will play in the Victorian Champions League during the summer months for Western Wolves.
